The Fourth Word
My God, my God, why have your forsaken me.
Matthew 27:46
Mark 15:34
The 4th word that God have spoken are heavy words that I thought even He is complaining to God the Father of being abandoned. But I am wrong...
God the Father has never abandoned Jesus Christ. But Jesus was pertaining to His people who abandoned and forsaken Him. From his chosen apostles, one of them forsaken Him. From the people who He gave good things upon them forsaken Him.
Until today, Jesus was forsaken by people. Not once, not twice but multiple times that people forsaken, betrayed and abandoned Jesus. For those times that the situation made you happy, comfortable and yet you forgot you are betraying Jesus.
This happen not only to Jesus. There is a chance that the most trusting person you think of will forsake you. From the treasurer of the company who betrays its boss or the company itself for getting money that was not belong to the treasurer, is a sign of betrayal. From the bestfriend whom you trusted most will abandon you from the most difficult times. Or to from a stranger will forsake you by telling lies that you did the stealing. Telling lies or gossiping to your neighbors is a sign of betray and so forth...
What you will do to others is like what you are doing to God.
What do you think?
