The Sixth Word
When Jesus have received the wine, he said "It is finished";
He bowed his head and handed over the spirit
Gospel of John 19:30
It is hard for me to internalize these words of Jesus. What has been finished? Maybe His sufferings and pain. But I realized maybe yes He is finished for the day. But it is the start of the whole new things
The words of "It is finished" is a good news from Jesus.
This mean a start of new wonderful things. He is not finished with you yet. He has a lot of plans for you, all is for your happiness and contentment. Things that you never thought that Jesus planned it for you.
Sometimes people got bored of how is doing to his/her own life and they tend to plan ahead. And they feel broken, down, desperate if that plan did not work for them. He never planned for your sorrow but He planned for your happiness. Sometimes you start to ask WHY?! Don't be angry but be sensitive, everything is planned for your growth and for greater good. Lift them all to God and you will feel, Jesus never abandoned you and He is not finished of giving you life's joy.
